Loved this book! Alexandra has my kind of humor, and she writes an easy to follow book with her subtle--and sometimes not so subtle--sense of humor. Her story kept me anxious to see what happens next as it moved easily along though the lives of the characters. A great read.
Initially bought this because I lived in Gales Ferry and was intrigued. However, I found much more meat in the book than I expected and a very interesting story to go along with it. Well done....it keeps moving and keeps you interested....even if you're not from Gales Ferry.
I found that I couldn't put the book down. Serious and captivating, yet humorous also. I loved it and passed it on to family members. I would highly recommend this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The descriptions of the people made the reader feel as though we knew them. I would recommend this book and am so happy that I read it.
