Juliette Smith, star tennis player, is starting over at a new university. Traumatized by hazing at her last school, all she wants is to attend classes, win tennis matches, and be left the hell alone. She should have known her coach, Drew King, would be a problem from the moment he flexed his sexy-as-hell forearms. What happens when you mix a pissed-off woman with a bunch of snooty teammates and a hot coach? A heated match, complete with team politics and a forbidden game of singles with the coach. It’s reckless and hot until one of them taps out. Unable to admit she may be better off as a double, Jules is convinced she needs to play the game of life alone. Then life throws her a lob and she runs smack into her past. Coach King is back, and he wants to take control of the game. But she’s not certain she wants his advice when it comes to the life she’s built. The power struggle is on, but this time off the court.

I'm waiting for everyone to come to understand what I have known for a few books now. Rachel Blaufeld is a fantastic writer. She has unique stories, they have grit and are real and are sometimes difficult, but are always written in a way that I can walk with the character through the story and see their determination to make things ok in the end. Break Point is no exception. I don't know a thing about tennis, can't even say I care to learn, until I walked into this story and Jules made me interested and King Drew made me fall in love. It's not predictable, but it is exceptional. Don't hesitate to buy this book, call in sick to work, and snuggle in the blankets to read a REALLY GOOD BOOK!Product details

Break Point Rachel Blaufeld 9780997070750 Books Reviews
I am always a little squeamish about coach/teacher and student romances, but still enjoyed the novella that was written for a charity anthology. The author took that story to a complete novel that developed the characters and plot to a superb and perfect contemporary romance. Loved this!
I was hooked on Coach King and Jules back in the Hot For Teacher Anthology. This love story was very well written. The highs and lows. I love how strong Jules was from the beginning. Drew was relentless in his pursuit too. Loved the extended Prologue!!! Is this an opening for more?
I say it on every review and I will say it again...Rachel you ROCK!! I have not found a book yet of yours that I haven't read in one sitting! You have got some talent. And I love love Drew...sexy, cheesy, and wonderful!! Keep on keeping in Rachel and do your thing!
This book kind of ripped me up! Jules is one strong person - through each part of the book - but all along she is bound so tight that I just wanted to hug her and tell her to let go. Drew pissed me off, a lot! I didn't agree with his choices but I understood them. And in the end - he came through big time. The ending - Rachel always brings her a-game to these stories and the ending was no different this time. A must read!
I really enjoyed this book, but I felt like the story was too rushed in the beginning. I loved how Drew tried to right his wrongs against Jules even when she fought him at every turn. Overall, I was glad I read this book. It reminded me of the author's other book Vérité (Love At Center Court Book 1) which I highly recommend reading, as well.
Oh I felt so bad for Jules. She went from a terrible situation at one school to thinking she found compassion and love at another. Drew was trying to do best by her. But I understood her reasoning for keeping that secret from him. Their lives were meant to be intertwined. Drew had so much time to make up and I think he did it perfectly . This book just got better and better!
There were a few times that Drew and Jules almost gave me a headache because I wanted them to go in a different direction, but I totally understand that I have to take it like it is. This book starts out as a forbidden romance kind of book then I feel like it turns into more of a second chance story with a few surprises. Over all, I liked the book a lot. I have read a few from this author and have never been disappointed with her work, so I will keep checking her books out as they come.
